The school year is over, and our summer football training program begins!
Speed & Strength Program:
Beginning Monday, June 27th, Matt Chapdelaine will be leading our strength and speed program. These sessions run Monday, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 1:30-3:00 at W.J. Mouat (in the weight room and on the turf). There is a cost to be part of this program. Please contact me if you need more information.
Throwing & Linemen workouts:
From 3-4PM on Monday, Wednesdays, and Fridays, we will be doing our throwing sessions and linemen workouts, also at Mouat. There is no cost to take part in these.
Tuesday, August 2nd, we have another opportunity to raise funds for our program in a movie shoot. It will be all day in Vancouver, similar to what we did in March. We are asking that our players are available. Please RSVP. The date may change with limited warning, as the producers are looking for a cloudy day. If your son attends this day, we will again deduct $25 from their season fees.
The Senior team will begin their two-a-days the week of Monday, August 22nd. Any juniors are invited to attend as well.
The Junior team will begin their two-a-days the week of Monday, August 29th.
It is important that all players attend.
The Senior team will open their season Friday, September 2nd, as they host Everett High School. 7PM kickoff.
I will be out of the province the first week of July coaching the U-16 Team BC in a tournament in Saskatchewan.
I will be in Haiti July 9-16 as part of a group of Canadian teachers who offer a Teachers Training program to Haitian educators. After that, I will be around all summer.
These workout sessions will still continue in my absence.
