A week ago, Devin Logan made a bold prediction that the No. 3-ranked W.J. Mouat Hawks would pull off the upset and beat the Vancouver College Fighting Irish.

On Saturday, the Hawks Grade 12 runningback put his words into action with a four-touchdown performance as Mouat soundly defeated the Fighting Irish, the defending Subway Bowl champs, by a score of 42-14.

Grade 12 defensive back Nathan Henczel also had a pair of interceptions in the win.

Saturday’s victory also exercised the Hawks’ demons from last season, after losing the Subway Bowl semifinal to the Fighting Irish by a score of 27-3.
