W.J. Mouat registered its first shutout of the season with a 46-0 thrashing of St. Thomas More last week, but it was the defence that took centre stage.

Alan Dicks led the scoring with a pair of rushing touchdowns and Cam Bedore found wide receiver John Watson for another score. But from there it was all defence. Sammy Jasper had his biggest night this year with three tackles, one QB sack, three fumble recoveries and one of those he covered in the end zone for a touchdown.

James Broadland registered five tackles and an 22-yard interception for a TD while Luke Friesen also had five tackles and an 18-yard interception return to the one yard line. From there Cam Bedore scored on a QB sneak.

The Mouat defence was again led by league leading tackler Tyler Declare with 14 tackles and on the last play of the game Declare intercepted the final pass and ran it back 35 yards for a touchdown.
